It's been a while since I've written here...hope everyone is enjoying the winter break. I've been keeping myself busy with work, which explains the reason for me never being home or never having the time to go online since I'd rather just rest. Even though it's been pretty crazy at Build-A-Bear with the long lines and everything, time passes by so fast because I'm having so much fun. It's always nice when little kids are making bears for the first time...the excited look on their faces and your ability to share that special experience with them. It makes you feel like you've made someone's day. I just love to see familiar faces, so thanks to everyone who took the time to drop by and say hi.

I never really liked rainy days...it makes me sleepy watching the rain pour outside of the window. I could sure use some hot coco right about now, that would be nice. I find it so romantic when in drama movies the guy & the girl get caught up in the rain, an umbrella opens up, they lean towards each other, and the grand finale kiss happens.

This morning, woke up late & again I blame it on the rain because it makes you even lazier to get up in the morning. Got myself ready & headed to Fashion to take our Build-A-Bear group picture with Santa. I think it turned out pretty good. Oh yeah, Bearemy (our mascot, if you guys didnt already know) was there too. It was so cute, he even had his bear-size Livestrong bracelet on him. I encourage you guys to buy the Livestrong bracelets, its proceeds go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which supports cancer treatment & research. It's for a good cause. Sorry for advertising here on Xanga about it, but I think it's one of those small things that each person can do this holiday season. It's $2 for two bracelets, one for you and the other for your Build-A-Bear, so you guys can match.

These days, I've discovered that all I need to get by are girl talks and busy schedules.

Had an awesome night at Miss Maria Karren's debut. The 18 roses and candles ceremony was heartwarming. Spent quality time with the girls, they're the best...they help me find my sense of self-worth and open my eyes to the world I once deprived myself of.

Happy Halloween everyone, hope you guys had fun partying or trick-or-treating. Well, the family and I decided to use the tickets I won from the radio station last month to spend a not-so-traditional Halloween at both CA Adventure and Disneyland. I thought it was interesting how they wouldn't let anyone over 9 years old with a costume inside the park. lol. I was also looking forward to doing some trick-or-treating there, but that didn't happen.
